Art Techniques Workshop
for Youth Services Librarians Working with Grades 4-12
Sharon Gill, from the Woodbridge Public Library, will conduct hands-on workshops teaching attendees methods for using art techniques, such as painting with watercolors and drawing with pastels, to create programs for tweens and teens grades 4-12. She will give tips on using these techniques even if you have no prior experience with them. Time will be given to practice at the workshop. Attendance is limited to 25 per session, but additional sessions on succeeding days can be added as necessary.
Craft Workshop
for Youth Services Librarians Working with Grades Preschool-3
Kathy Ross will teach attendees how to do make-and-take crafts related to the "Dragons, Dreams and Daring Deeds" theme. Supplies and patterns will be provided. Please bring your own scissors. An opportunity to purchase her books and have them signed will follow each workshop. Attendance is limited to 100 people per session, so please register only one person per library building. Registration is on a first come first served basis.
